“Fresh and dry — a supreme sake that vanishes like mist.”
Founded in 1902 by the fifth-generation head of the Kubo family, Nikichi, Ippongi inherited its name from the prosperous Kasamatsu family of Katsuyama.
True to the spirit of Fukui sake, it values depth of flavor while maintaining a clean, crisp finish.
By the early Showa era, its refined dry style had earned it recognition as the largest sake producer in Fukui Prefecture.
