~Suishin Beigoku Kurajukusei Junmai~

This is the store-exclusive “Beigoku Series”, limited to only 300 bottles!

The series begins in winter with freshly pressed sake, and throughout spring, summer, and autumn, the brewers release it in the condition they consider most suitable for the season.

After low-temperature bottle aging from spring, it develops a fragrant aroma, rounded umami, and a crisp finish — a dry sake ideal for pairing with meals.

Please note: As this is a seasonal limited release, it may sell out quickly.

Brewery: Suishin Yamane Main Brewery, Hiroshima

“A traditional Hiroshima sake that is dry yet mellow!”

Founded in 1860 (Man’en era). Around the mid-Meiji period, the brewery consolidated its 20+ sake labels into a single brand: Suishin. During deliberation, the second-generation head of the brewery dreamt of a white-haired elder who told him, “Name it Suishin (醉心, Drunken Heart).” Thus, the brand was born.

Carrying the tradition of being “dry yet mellow,” Suishin has continued to captivate drinkers to this day.
    (From the brewery’s official website)

It is also known as the sake most beloved by the great Japanese painter Yokoyama Taikan.
