Asahikiku Sake Brewery, Fukuoka Prefecture
A sake that is timeless and made with the traditional Japanese rice flavor to go well with meals
The company was founded in 1900 under the brand name "Asahi-Kiku," a chrysanthemum flower that is as powerful as the rising sun and a symbol of Japan. The Chikugo region, where Asahi-Kiku Sake Brewery is located, is in the southern part of Fukuoka Prefecture and has developed into one of Japan's leading sake-producing areas, blessed with the vast Chikushi Plain and the Chikugo River, a first-class river blessed with abundant water from the Kuju mountain range. Even in today's world, where times are constantly changing, Asahi-Kiku continues to focus on the timeless flavor of rice that has been passed down since ancient times in Japan, and continues to devote itself to brewing sake that goes well with meals.
